The Lightning Network is a transaction layer that is built on top of Bitcoin. It unlocks very fast and very cheap payments while still being anchored in the Bitcoin blockchain.

Starbackr is built on Bitcoin but powered by Lightning, meaning most transactions are actually handled by the Lightning Network. That's one of the reasons why Starbackr can operate on a much lower revenue share than other platforms.

While most other platforms need to collect 20-40% of a creator's revenue, STARBACKR only needs 10%.
